Job Description:
Position Summary
Provide maintenance readiness, status, policy, and analytical support to USARCENT G4. Integrate maintenance data and operational requirements to identify readiness risks, trends, constraints, and recommended actions.
Primary Responsibilities
Track and analyze maintenance readiness, work status, equipment availability, backlogs, parts constraints, and support requirements.
Validate maintenance data and investigate discrepancies using approved records and systems.
Prepare readiness reports, briefings, forecasts, data calls, and decision-support products.
Coordinate maintenance impacts with supply, transportation, operations, and supported organizations.
Research and apply maintenance policies and procedures to assigned analyses and recommendations.
Identify adverse trends or mission risks and elevate them with options for resolution.
Government-Stated Conditions
Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance. The Government recommends an active clearance at hire.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card, installation access, and required Government system/network access; performance cannot begin while required access is pending.
Must read, write, speak, and understand English and maintain professional conduct and appearance.
Must use Government-furnished equipment and authorized systems for performance; unauthorized personal devices or removable media are prohibited on Government networks.
Must complete required security, cyber/IA, OPSEC, antiterrorism, iWATCH, and local training. Possible CONUS or OCONUS travel may be designated after award.
Requirements:
Five or more years of Army or DoD maintenance management, maintenance control, readiness analysis, or logistics staff experience.
Knowledge of maintenance reporting, work management, equipment readiness, parts support, and inspection processes.
Experience with Army maintenance systems relevant to the assigned work, such as GCSS-Army or equivalent; identify specific systems on the resume.
Strong analytical, reporting, briefing, and cross-functional coordination skills.
Relevant maintenance-management, logistics, or technical education/certification is preferred but is not stated as a Government requirement.
