This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Dir, Innovative Customer Data Product Lead based in United States.
This is a senior product leadership opportunity focused on transforming complex customer data into trusted, reusable, AI-ready products. You will own the vision, roadmap, prioritization, adoption strategy, and lifecycle of data products spanning payer, HCP, omnichannel, and engagement domains. The role sits at the intersection of data strategy, product management, analytics, technology, and commercial business needs. You will shape products that enable smarter customer targeting, segmentation, omnichannel orchestration, field execution, and engagement insights. Success will depend on embedding business meaning, governance, metadata, lineage, and reusable measures directly into product design. This is a highly collaborative role in a complex, matrixed environment with significant influence across enterprise teams. The position is remote within the U.S. and requires approximately 20% travel.
- Own the end-to-end product strategy, roadmap, prioritization, and lifecycle management for customer data products across payer, HCP, omnichannel, and engagement domains.
- Define innovative, reusable data products that incorporate business definitions, semantic meaning, metrics, metadata, lineage, standards, governance, and clear consumption patterns.
- Partner closely with data enablement and technology teams to translate strategy into executable delivery plans, align priorities, remove operational barriers, and ensure products are scalable, reliable, and enterprise-ready.
- Collaborate with business, analytics, technology, governance, operations, and data product teams to identify high-value capabilities, reduce duplication, and align investments with enterprise priorities.
- Drive product adoption through stakeholder engagement, enablement, feedback loops, value measurement, and continuous enhancement based on evolving business needs.
- Establish product standards, governance routines, intake processes, service expectations, and performance measures that promote reliability, reuse, compliance, scalability, and measurable business impact.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear data product requirements and communicate product strategy, priorities, risks, and outcomes effectively to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Monitor product performance, prioritize issues and enhancements, and ensure products continue to deliver meaningful value across customer targeting, segmentation, omnichannel execution, payer insights, and engagement activities.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; a Master's degree, MBA, or related advanced qualification is strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of experience across pharmaceutical, healthcare, technology, data, analytics, consulting, or related environments, with substantial experience in data products, data strategy, product management, or analytics enablement.
- 5+ years of domain expertise in customer data, payer/HCP data, omnichannel analytics, customer engagement, commercial analytics, data governance, or AI-ready semantic data products.
- Demonstrated experience defining product vision, roadmaps, prioritization frameworks, use cases, adoption strategies, value measures, and governance models in complex, matrixed organizations.
- Strong understanding of semantic data products, business definitions, data quality, metadata, lineage, standards, governance, and AI-ready data consumption patterns.
- Proven ability to work with data enablement, platforms, technology, analytics, business, governance, and operations teams to turn strategy into scalable enterprise capabilities.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts clearly to both technical and senior business audiences.
- Ability to bridge technical data requirements with business and domain priorities, ensuring solutions are practical, scalable, reusable, and aligned with enterprise objectives.
- Strong product leadership, commercial thinking, customer engagement, strategic planning, and ROI/value measurement capabilities.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while managing competing priorities and maintaining focus on measurable outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership, inspire cross-functional teams, and build alignment without relying solely on formal authority.
- Salary range of $185,500–$344,500 per year, with final compensation based on relevant skills, experience, and other applicable factors.
