This opportunity is designed for accomplished legal professionals who want to apply their expertise to the development of next-generation AI systems.
You will contribute sophisticated legal reasoning, research, drafting, and review skills to projects that help advanced AI models learn from high-quality professional judgment.

You will work remotely with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate legal content, identify nuanced issues, and improve the quality of project deliverables.

Accountabilities
  • Conduct comprehensive legal analysis across a range of U.S. law topics, applying sound professional judgment and nuanced reasoning to complex scenarios.
  • Perform detailed legal research to support project objectives, ensuring conclusions and recommendations are accurate, current, and grounded in authoritative sources.
  • Draft, review, and edit legal materials, including memoranda, opinions, contracts, and other professional documents, while maintaining a high standard of clarity and precision.
  • Evaluate legal texts and provide structured, actionable feedback regarding accuracy, completeness, clarity, consistency, and alignment with established legal practices.
  • Collaborate remotely with multidisciplinary teams to refine deliverables, resolve complex legal questions, and contribute specialized subject-matter expertise.
  • Support quality assurance activities by identifying errors, inconsistencies, ambiguities, and areas where legal reasoning or documentation can be strengthened.
  • Apply meticulous attention to detail across all assignments and maintain exceptionally high standards for accuracy, professionalism, and legal quality.
Requirements
  • Active license to practice law, supported by strong academic credentials and a demonstrated foundation in U.S. legal practice.
  • Mandatory experience working at one or more Vault Law 100 firms, with exposure to sophisticated, high-stakes legal matters.
  • Experience in litigation, corporate law, M&A, or related top-tier legal practice areas, with the ability to apply specialized expertise to varied legal topics.
  • Strong capabilities in legal analysis, research, drafting, editing, and interpretation of complex legal materials.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate nuanced legal concepts clearly and precisely.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess legal content against professional standards and provide structured, objective feedback.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency, with a commitment to maintaining high-quality legal work.
  • Experience collaborating effectively in remote and multidisciplinary environments.
  • Ability to work independently, manage assignments reliably, and exercise sound professional judgment.
  • Experience with quality assurance, rubric-based evaluation, or structured review of legal documents is a plus.
  • Prior experience in artificial intelligence is not required; strong legal subject-matter expertise is the primary qualification.
