Sales/Service Technician

Brief Job Description
A Service Technician is an integral part of the customer’s experience after their initial installation. Service Technicians travel to our customers’ homes in a company-provided vehicle to inspect and service preexisting equipment installed by Crawl Space Ninja or by competitors. The Service Technician drives sales from existing customers by recommending additional floor support repair, crawlspace encapsulation, basement waterproofing, and other services and upgrades. Crawl Space Ninja provides qualified, high-quality warm sales lead appointments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Attending appointments scheduled by a Customer Care Representative. Appointments are scheduled based on your availability.
- Travel to a customer’s home for a pre-set appointment using a company vehicle.
- Build long-term relationships with customers and professionally represent Crawl Space Ninja.
- Recommend additional products and services to enhance or improve the original installation or remedy a potential issue by following the sales process.
- Perform yearly maintenance visits, examining previously completed work.
- Perform reactive service appointments, diagnose, and fix any issues.
- Install the additional products purchased by the customer as necessary.
- Adhere to safety/health regulations and procedures when carrying out construction operations.
- Examine work done by the company and determine potential warranty or non-warranty work.
- Communicate the status of each job (completions and complications) and submit all necessary
- Documentation to the Service Manager/Job Coordinator.
- All other duties as required
Qualifications:
- One or more years of proven commission-driven sales experience required.
- Construction/Home Improvement experience preferred.
- Proven customer relations experience, with in-home services preferred.
- Skill in operating construction equipment and/or power tools preferred.
- Experienced in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces (Service Technicians regularly inspect Crawlspaces).
- High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
- At least one year of sales experience is preferred.
- A valid, non-restrictive Driver’s License is required.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Monday through Friday workweek
- Salary plus sales commission compensation
- Weekly Pay & Sales Commission - Many earn $100k+ (based on prior experience and ability to navigate the sales process)
