NCC is seeking a Data Scientist with Foundry experience to support the design, development, and deployment of advanced data solutions within Palantir Foundry and related analytics platforms. This role combines data engineering, analytics, and data science expertise to help transform complex data into actionable insights that drive operational and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, technically proficient, and capable of collaborating across business and technical teams in a fastpaced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows within Palantir Foundry.
- Build and optimize data models, ontology structures, and analytics applications to support business operations and decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Develop and deploy machine learning models, predictive analytics solutions, and statistical analyses using structured and unstructured data.
- Perform data cleansing, transformation, integration, and validation to ensure high-quality datasets.
- Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights and trends to technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of ETL/ELT processes and data integration solutions.
- Work closely with data engineers, software developers, analysts, and leadership teams to deliver enterprise data solutions.
- Optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure platform reliability and scalability.
- Document technical processes, workflows, and solution architectures.
- Maintain data governance, security, and compliance standards throughout the data lifecycle.
- Provide technical guidance and support to users and project teams regarding Foundry capabilities and best practices.

- Ability to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Clearance or higher
- Experience developing solutions within Palantir Foundry or similar enterprise data platforms
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL and/or R
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines, ETL workflows, and data integration processes
- Knowledge of machine learning, statistical modeling, and data analysis techniques
- Experience working with large, complex datasets from multiple sources
- Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Foundry applications.
- Understanding of cloud environments, distributed systems, and modern data architectures.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Experience with version control, documentation, and Agile development methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Palantir Foundry certification or advanced platform experience.
- Experience developing machine learning or AI-driven solutions in production environments.
- Familiarity with Spark, PySpark, Hadoop, or distributed computing frameworks.
- Experience with API integrations, data orchestration, and workflow automation tools.
- Knowledge of data governance, cybersecurity, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience supporting government, defense, healthcare, financial services, or other highly regulated industries.
- Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and software deployment practices.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams supporting enterprise-scale analytics initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related technical field
