Houseman/Driver- NYC in New York, New York at The Calendar Group

A private family on the Upper East Side of Manhattan is seeking a professional Houseman/Driver to support the family's household and property needs across multiple locations. This is a hands-on role combining driving, errands, vehicle care, property support, and general household assistance. The ideal candidate is proactive, hardworking, detail-oriented, and comfortable stepping in wherever needed. Responsibilities:

• Manage a weekly courier route and handle deliveries and pickups.
• Provide transportation for the family and as needed driving requests and errands.
• Maintain and organize the family's vehicle fleet, including routine upkeep and scheduling service.
• Assist with property and household projects across multiple locations.
• Conduct property walkthroughs and identify maintenance or service needs.
• Support household staff with general maintenance and hands-on tasks.
• Assist with light grounds work, including snow removal and pressure washing.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in vehicles, storage areas, and properties.
• Assist with special projects and other duties as requested.
• Approach all responsibilities with a positive, flexible, and "no task is too small" attitude.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and general upkeep.
• Highly dependable, punctual, and responsible.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Hands-on and mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with household and facilities teams.
• Flexible, proactive, and willing to assist wherever needed.
• Discreet and respectful of the family's privacy.

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 annually

Schedule: Monday through Friday
