Position Summary

The Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems safely, efficiently, and professionally. This role is ideal for a technician who takes pride in quality work, strong customer service, and solving problems in the field.

What You’ll Do

· Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems and equipment

· Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain walk-in coolers and freezers, reach-in coolers and freezers, ice machines, and production-line refrigeration equipment

· Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections

· Communicate repair recommendations and solutions clearly with customers

· Complete service calls safely, efficiently, and accurately

· Maintain proper documentation, invoices, and service records

· Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment

· Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies

· Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance

· Support team productivity and overall branch success

What Success Looks Like

· Complete service calls safely, accurately, and efficiently

· Diagnose issues correctly and reduce repeat callbacks

· Communicate clearly with customers about repairs, options, and recommendations

· Meet productivity and performance goals

· Maintain strong customer satisfaction

· Complete paperwork, invoices, and service notes accurately

· Follow safety procedures and use proper PPE

· Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in good condition

· Show up on time, be prepared, and support the team

Required Qualifications

· 2+ years of HVAC service experience

· 2+ years of commercial refrigeration service experience

· EPA Certification

· Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

· Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

· Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

· Strong communication and customer service skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Ability to lift equipment and work in outdoor conditions or confined spaces

· Professional appearance and positive attitude

Preferred Qualifications

· Residential and/or commercial HVAC and refrigeration experience

· NATE Certification

· ServiceTitan experience

· Experience with maintenance agreements and upselling

· Experience in fast-paced service environments

· Experience mentoring apprentices or junior technicians

· Bilingual English/Spanish
