Job Description
Position Summary
As an Appian Architect, you will work closely with the Precise project team to support application development and maintenance for client and corporate projects. Support includes evaluating business requirements given by the system end-users and business stakeholders, interpreting, and translating high-level requirements into design details, and planning concepts using provided information and materials. Activities will include design, development, architecture, implementation, and support on end-to-end business applications with the Appian BPM platform.
This position is contingent upon a contract award
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owners to translate business requirements and operational strategy into a long-term, executable solution plan and roadmap.
- Work with business users to translate business requirements into technical designs to map and load data from source systems or the data warehouse into the transactional database.
- Work with IT leadership to keep solutions in alignment with the future IT roadmap.
- Able to contribute to hands-on development and support, Proof of Concept and demos as needed.
- Develop and implement the Appian and web-based applications.
- Provide technical guidance to other developers as needed.
- Develop applications in Appian business process management and integrate with other COTS products.
- Debug issues in Interfaces and Process Models.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- Appian Level 1 or 2 Certified.
- Experience in Agile, Appian RPA/BPM, Java, API’s.
- Experience with integrations with external systems.
- Experience with estimating and sizing Appian business requirements.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Passion for design, attention to detail, and punctuality.
- Ability to scope Appian Projects.
- Comfortable in a demanding environment and managing multiple priorities.
