Vehicle Service Agent- Airport in North Charleston, South Carolina at GSP Transportation

The Service Agent is responsible for greeting customers, processing rentals and selling optional services, answering telephone calls, responding to customer questions and complaints, and communicating with shuttle drivers for customer pick-ups. Greet customers, disclose rates, terms and conditions of rental, and obtain customer signatures.

Duties to include but not limited to:

• Handle rental car transactions to accommodate our customers
• Use effective sales techniques to encourage customers to utilize service options
• Receive telephone calls and handle or pass along customer-related issues
• Complete, review and submit various reports to supervisor
• Maintain and update rental agreement files
• Enter and maintain information in location logs
• Complete car exchange requests in computer system
• Communicate with shuttle drivers
• Perform related responsibilities as assigned or required

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Valid driver’s license • Satisfactory motor vehicle report
• At least 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the US
• Reliable transportation
• Excellent attention to details
• Able to work all required shifts
• Willing to work outside in nearly all weather conditions
• Strong time management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner

Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements: Extensive physical activity when cleaning and servicing cars
