Partner Development Representative

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Partner Development Representative based in United States.

The Partner Development Representative will help expand and strengthen a growing partner ecosystem within a fast-paced cloud and enterprise technology environment. This role focuses on proactive partner engagement, qualified opportunity generation, and the activation of co-sell initiatives with major cloud platforms. You will work closely with channel sales, partner marketing, technical teams, and cloud partner stakeholders to uncover and develop joint customer opportunities. The position combines high-volume outbound prospecting with discovery, qualification, relationship building, and early-stage pipeline development. You will become an important first point of contact for partner-driven opportunities and help maintain momentum as prospects progress toward sales engagement. Success requires strong communication, organization, persistence, and the ability to tailor messaging to different partner priorities. This is an opportunity to contribute to an entrepreneurial culture while building valuable experience across cloud partnerships, enterprise software, and data technology.

Accountabilities:
  • Execute structured, high-volume outbound outreach to key stakeholders across major cloud partner ecosystems, including field sellers, partner managers, and solution architects.
  • Engage prioritized customer accounts alongside partner teams to identify, develop, and advance joint business opportunities.
  • Lead initial discovery conversations to communicate joint value propositions, understand customer needs, and identify potential use cases.
  • Generate qualified partner-sourced opportunities and drive progression through early pipeline stages.
  • Serve as an initial point of contact for partner-driven opportunities while maintaining consistent and meaningful partner engagement.
  • Build and nurture relationships with cloud partner stakeholders across different regions and industry verticals.
  • Deliver partner-aligned messaging that reflects current cloud initiatives, priorities, and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with Partner, Sales, and Technical teams to activate, coordinate, and advance co-sell motions.
  • Qualify early-stage opportunities based on business fit, technical requirements, timing, and appropriate next steps.
  • Coordinate progression from initial opportunity stages through qualified pipeline and support effective handoffs to Sales.
  • Maintain engagement during early deal stages to ensure continuity, alignment, and momentum.
  • Schedule and coordinate initial meetings involving partners, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage outreach cadences and communications through tools such as SalesLoft and UserGems.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up across partner-led initiatives and capture relevant insights to improve targeting, messaging, and outreach strategies.
  • Support cross-functional coordination to ensure partner-driven activities are executed smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • 1–3+ years of experience in an SDR, BDR, partner development, channel, or related business development role is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success with outbound prospecting through email, phone, LinkedIn, and partner channels is required.
  • Experience working with or alongside cloud partners such as Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS is highly valuable.
  • The ability to conduct effective discovery conversations and qualify opportunities, including those involving technical use cases, is important.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and partner ecosystems is expected.
  • Strong organizational skills are required to manage multiple outreach streams, conversations, and follow-up activities simultaneously.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, combined with strong persistence and follow-through, are essential.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with sales, technical, marketing, and partner teams is required.
  • Experience in data, cloud, or enterprise software environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with co-sell motions and partner programs is advantageous.
  • Exposure to technical concepts such as data pipelines, cloud architecture, or real-time data processing is a plus.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment are highly valued.
Benefits:
  • Annual base compensation of $60,000–$70,000 USD, with additional opportunities to earn commission-based rewards.
  • Pre-IPO stock options provide an opportunity to participate in the company’s potential future growth.
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage is available, including medical, dental, and vision plans.
  • Medical and dependent Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) are offered.
  • Paid time off includes vacation, sick leave, and public holidays.
  • The role provides opportunities to work closely with major cloud ecosystems and gain experience in enterprise partnerships, data, and cloud technology.
  • Employees have the opportunity to contribute to and shape an upbeat, entrepreneurial, and highly engaged workplace culture.
  • The position offers opportunities for professional growth and development within a rapidly evolving technology environment.
