Key ManagerRole OverviewThe Key Manager is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring excellent customer service, supporting staff, and maintaining operational standard along with being accountable for opening and closing the restaurant.⸻Key Responsibilities1. Shift Leadership • Lead and supervise front-of-house and/or back-of-house staff during shifts • Assign tasks and ensure smooth workflow • Step in to support any position during busy periods2. Opening & Closing Duties • Open and/or close the restaurant (unlock/lock doors, alarms, lights) • Count cash drawers and manage safe deposits • Ensure cleanliness, prep, and readiness for service3. Customer Experience • Ensure a welcoming, high-quality dining experience • Monitor service speed and food quality4. Staff Support & Training • Train new employees on procedures and service standards • Enforce company policies and health/safety guidelines5. Operations & Compliance • Follow food safety and sanitation standards • Monitor inventory levels and report shortages • Ensure compliance with local health regulations6.
