This role is focused on driving regional sales performance and expanding market presence across General Trade and Modern Trade channels, with a strong emphasis on labeling products. You will be responsible for managing distributor networks, strengthening retail execution, and ensuring consistent product availability and visibility across your assigned territory. The position requires active field engagement, including regular market visits to identify opportunities, monitor competition, and improve route effectiveness. You will play a key role in building strong customer and distributor relationships while supporting business growth through targeted sales execution. Working closely with marketing and distribution teams, you will help ensure promotional activities and merchandising strategies are effectively implemented in the market. This is a high-impact field sales role suited for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about achieving ambitious sales targets.
- Drive primary and secondary sales targets across the assigned territory by managing and supporting distributor and field sales teams.
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor route coverage, competitor activity, and identify new sales opportunities.
- Build and maintain a strong distribution network to ensure optimal product availability and market penetration.
- Provide distributors and customers with updated information on products, promotions, and service offerings to enhance sales performance.
- Monitor distributor performance and recommend improvements or additions to strengthen regional coverage and efficiency.
- Ensure execution of sales processes, reporting systems, and administrative procedures to support field operations.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to implement merchandising, promotions, and brand visibility initiatives in the market.
- Engage in cold calling and prospecting to develop new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Ensure distributor teams are motivated, well-supported, and aligned with business objectives.
- Deliver high-quality customer service and ensure strong relationships with key stakeholders across the territory.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in field sales, preferably within a large organization or multinational environment.
- Prior exposure to labeling, packaging, or B2B sales environments is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of General Trade and/or Modern Trade sales channels.
- Proven ability to manage distributor networks and drive sales performance in a competitive market.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to undertake extensive field travel and market visits.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with cross-functional teams.
