Pediatric RN

The Pediatric RN specializes in the provision of care to infants, children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. Collaborates with an interprofessional team that includes pediatricians and other healthcare providers to develop andimplement individualized care plans enhancing the physical and emotional well-being of the patients we serve. The Pediatric RN leverages various technologies to monitor and assess patients and plays a crucial role in communicating changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare provider, escalating when necessary. This role is instrumental in the provision of education to patients and families on disease management, treatment plans, and preventative care.

Qualifications:

The following qualifications are the minimum requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of this position:

• Current unrestricted North Carolina RN license or RN multi-state licensure privilege through the
Nurse Licensure Compact.

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school, AD degree in nursing, BSN preferred.

Experience:

• One year of clinical experience in a pediatric setting is preferred.

Additional Requirements:

• BLS (upon hire)
• PALS (within 90 days of hire)
• NRP (within 90 days of hire)
• S.T.A.B.L.E. (within one year of hire)
