Job Description

Knowledge Systems Lead

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Knowledge Systems Lead in Ireland.

This role sits at the intersection of knowledge management, product experience, and structured content design within a fast-scaling healthcare AI environment. You will be responsible for shaping how critical information is organized, accessed, and consumed across customer-facing knowledge systems that support highly technical and regulated products. Working closely with engineering, customer experience, and subject matter experts, you will transform complex regulatory and technical guidance into clear, structured, and reusable knowledge assets. This is a strategic and hands-on role where system thinking directly impacts user experience, operational efficiency, and trust in product outputs. You will design scalable information architectures that serve both human users and AI-driven retrieval systems. Operating in a remote-first, high-growth environment, you will help define how knowledge is built for the next generation of healthcare AI tools.

Accountabilities
  • Own the structure, taxonomy, navigation, and overall architecture of the customer-facing knowledge base.
  • Design and maintain content models, metadata frameworks, and templates that ensure consistency, scalability, and usability of information systems.
  • Translate complex regulatory, technical, and product requirements into clear, structured, and actionable documentation.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and customer experience teams to ensure accuracy, clarity, and usability of knowledge content.
  • Use customer behavior, search analytics, and content performance data to identify gaps, confusion points, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Optimize knowledge systems for both human users and AI-driven retrieval, ensuring content is structured, versioned, and machine-readable.
  • Improve content discoverability and usability by refining information architecture and user experience flows.
  • Ensure governance standards for knowledge creation, maintenance, and lifecycle management are defined and followed.
  • Support the integration of knowledge systems across product surfaces to ensure consistent guidance delivery.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in knowledge management, content systems, technical documentation, information architecture, or related fields.
  • Experience working in complex, technical, B2B, or regulated environments, ideally involving healthcare, compliance, or enterprise SaaS.
  • Strong systems thinking with the ability to design scalable structures for managing and retrieving large volumes of information.
  • Excellent understanding of UX principles and how information design impacts usability and customer outcomes.
  • Technical fluency with structured content systems such as Markdown, Git-based workflows, headless CMSs, or docs-as-code approaches.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted knowledge systems, structured data, or retrieval-augmented generation concepts is highly valuable.
  • Ability to work closely with engineering teams and understand technical constraints and implementation considerations.
  • Strong writing skills with a clear, structured, and MECE-oriented communication style.
  • Comfortable handling complex subject matter and translating it into accessible, precise documentation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret usage data and customer feedback to drive improvements.
  • Excellent collaboration skills in asynchronous, cross-functional, and remote-first environments.
Benefits
  • Fully remote role with flexibility across Europe and the UK.
  • Competitive salary package between £70,000 – £80,000, with equity participation.
  • Opportunity to shape knowledge systems at the core of a pioneering healthcare AI company.
  • High-impact role influencing product usability, regulatory clarity, and customer success outcomes.
  • Collaborative, mission-driven environment focused on improving global access to healthcare.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge AI systems and next-generation knowledge infrastructure.
  • Strong autonomy with ownership over critical customer-facing knowledge architecture.
  • Close collaboration with experienced founders, engineers, and domain experts.
  • Fast-growing organization with strong product-market fit and expanding global reach.
