About the Role:
We're looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join the team at our Waipukurau Store, in a fixed term role for 6 months to help keep our customers happy and our operations running smoothly, safely and successfully. From blending bulk fertiliser and operating heavy machinery to processing computerised orders and selling to customers. Your mix of practical skills, personality and professionalism means that nothing will be a problem.
About You:
Your previous experience in a front-end loader & customer focused role along with general store/yard work will make you an ideal candidate. Being able to operate a forklift would be a nice to have however, we can provide the necessary training to see you succeed. You will be comfortable using a tablet/computer to use our stock management and ordering system.
There are seasonal demands which require flexibility in the hours, including Saturday mornings and some nights during the peak periods. Ideal Skills & Experience:
- Strong Health & Safety focus with a 'safety-first' attitude
- Experience in front-end loader operation with relevant licences (ideally with WTR)
Experience in bulk and bag handling - Reasonable physical fitness and be comfortable working in the yard
- Customer service experience and be an excellent 'people person'
- Competent using a computer or be capable of picking up Ravensdown's ordering and stock management system
- Positive collaborative attitude and enjoy working as part of a team
