JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:

  • Perform hydraulic component and system testing.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain test equipment.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret test data.
  • Troubleshoot test failures and equipment issues.
  • Prepare test reports and document results.
  • Support product development and validation activities.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on design verification.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Assist with continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute hydraulic component and system validation testing.
  • Develop and follow test procedures and standards.
  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot test equipment.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret test data.
  • Investigate failures and perform root cause analysis.
  • Document test results and prepare technical reports.
  • Support product development, verification, and design improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and performance requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years of testing, validation, or hydraulic systems experience.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic components and test equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting, data analysis, and reporting skills.
  • Experience in laboratory, manufacturing, or R&D environments.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Hydraulic systems and component testing
  • Test equipment setup and data acquisition
  • Troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Data analysis and technical reporting
  • Mechanical systems knowledge
  • Product validation and verification
  • Microsoft Office and engineering software proficiency
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with hydraulic and fluid power systems
  • Knowledge of LabVIEW, DAQ systems, or test automation
  • Familiarity with FEA, CAD, or engineering analysis tools
  • Experience in R&D, product development, or validation testing
  • Continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing knowledge
  • Strong collaboration and project management skills

The pay range for this role is:
60,000 - 70,000 USD per year(Mossville AC)
