Job Description
This position is responsible for providing quality customer service to consumers, visitors, staff, and to any customers of the Betty Hardwick Center. This position will treat all consumers with dignity and respect and will assist with providing a treatment environment that is comfortable and safe. This position will require you to interact with individuals, families, community agencies, and service providers. Daily service functions and other duties as assigned must be completed in a timely, organized, and accurate manner. Service functions include but are not limited to clerical support, data entry into CARE, TMHP, and Netsmart, scheduling appointments, answering multiple phone lines, relaying timely and accurate messages to staff, managing the condition of the Hickory Building lobby, monitoring and oversight of daily activities such as maintenance of various tracking systems, billing reports, vehicle maintenance, and overall unit operations. This position must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. This position must maintain excellent attendance and promptness. This position must be customer service oriented, have a friendly approachable attitude, and have a positive and pleasant demeanor. This position must have the ability to work with a multitude of individuals (clients, staff, and management).
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Computer literate
• Experience in mental health and/or medical services preferable
• Good clerical skills
• Customer service/receptionist experience
• Multiple phone line experience
• Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and be an insurable driver. Driving is an essential function and employees must maintain an acceptable driving record/insurability while employed.
Hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm, flexible.
This is a Full-Time position. Benefits are available.
Will be eligible for a one- and two-year increase, depending on satisfactory performance.
