$18 - $20 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Create a nurturing and safe environment for children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities that stimulate learning and development.
- Communicate effectively with parents to understand and meet the unique needs of each child.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, promoting healthy eating habits.
- Maintain a clean and organized play area, fostering a positive and inviting space for children.
- Adapt to the changing needs of children and families, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness.
- Support children's social skills by encouraging positive interactions and cooperative play with peers.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience caring for infants (newborn experience required).
- Strong understanding of infant development and care routines.
- Infant CPR & First Aid Certification (required).
- Background check and clean driving record.
- Non-smoker.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Excellent communication skills.
Work Environment & Expectations
- In-home care setting.
- May require flexibility in scheduling (early mornings, evenings, occasional weekends).
- Must maintain confidentiality and professionalism within the family’s home.
- Minimal personal phone use while on duty.
