Job Summary:
The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating machinery essential for grading and excavation activities, such as bulldozers, loaders, and excavators. This role requires precision and safety in handling large equipment on diverse terrains.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operates heavy equipment for site grading, leveling, and excavation.
• Reviews project plans and ensures grading is performed to specification.
• Monitors equipment functionality and performs minor maintenance checks.
• Coordinates with ground personnel to ensure site safety and efficiency.
• Ensures proper alignment and depth while operating machinery.
• Follows safety protocols and traffic regulations on and around the jobsite.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers, loaders, and excavators.
• Strong understanding of grading and excavation techniques.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a heavy equipment operator in grading or construction.

Physical Requirements:

• Must have sufficient vision and hand-eye coordination for precise equipment handling.
• Ability to sit, stand, and control equipment for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in outdoor environments with exposure to weather changes.
