This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Financial Services Associate (FSA) based in the United States.

This opportunity is part of a talent pipeline for future Financial Services Associate positions supporting growing small businesses. The role goes beyond routine bookkeeping, combining accounting expertise with client service and financial operations. You will support a Financial Services Manager with reporting, accounts payable and receivable, and month-end close activities. The position is well suited to a detail-oriented professional who enjoys structured processes and using technology to deliver accurate financial information. You will work remotely while collaborating with clients and team members in a service-focused environment. Strong organization, confidentiality, initiative, and a commitment to continuous learning will be important to your success.

Accountabilities:

As a Financial Services Associate, you will support the delivery of accurate and timely financial services to small business clients while working closely with a Financial Services Manager. The role requires precision, reliability, strong client awareness, and the ability to follow established processes in a fully remote environment.

  • Support Financial Services Managers in delivering high-quality financial services and maintaining strong client satisfaction.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reporting with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
  • Support month-end close processes and related accounting activities.
  • Use accounting and business software to maintain accurate and organized financial information.
  • Follow established accounting policies, procedures, and quality standards consistently.
  • Protect confidential client and financial information.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify issues, take ownership of assigned responsibilities, and contribute beyond basic task completion when needed.
  • Embrace new technologies, tools, and processes that improve the efficiency and quality of financial services.
  • Contribute to a collaborative remote environment built around integrity, achievement, and continuous learning.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a methodical and self-aware accounting professional with several years of relevant experience, strong QuickBooks knowledge, and a genuine commitment to client service. You should be comfortable working independently in a remote setting while maintaining consistent communication, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

  • 3–5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Enterprise.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Ability to work approximately 20 hours per week during daytime business hours, Monday through Friday.
  • Comfortable working with Bill.com, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, CRM platforms, and other remote business tools.
  • Strong accounting knowledge combined with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and a strong customer-service orientation.
  • Ability to follow established policies and procedures consistently.
  • Strong confidentiality and discretion when handling financial information.
  • Self-motivated, diligent, methodical, and capable of working independently.
  • Willingness to learn continuously and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Dedicated, distraction-free home office and reliable high-speed internet connection.
