Job Description

Senior Product Manager, AI Control Studio

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager, AI Control Studio based in United States.

This is a senior product leadership opportunity focused on giving enterprise retailers greater control over their digital commerce experiences. You’ll define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-assisted customization, extensibility, and integrations across a sophisticated commerce platform. The role sits at the intersection of product strategy, enterprise customer needs, AI, and platform technology. You’ll work closely with senior executives, enterprise retailers, engineering, design, commercial, data, and product teams to solve highly ambiguous problems. Your work will shape scalable solutions that allow retailers to differentiate their digital experiences while maintaining reliability, conversion, and platform coherence. This is an environment that values strong product judgment, rapid decision-making, technical fluency, and the ability to turn complex customer needs into measurable product outcomes.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the long-term product vision, strategy, and roadmap for enabling enterprise retailers to create differentiated digital experiences while maintaining appropriate platform guardrails.
  • Develop AI-assisted tools that make sophisticated customization of user interfaces, content, and other digital experiences faster and more accessible for retailers and internal teams.
  • Define the appropriate balance between retailer flexibility and platform consistency, ensuring customization supports differentiation without compromising conversion, reliability, maintainability, or core platform value.
  • Expand platform extensibility so retailers can address increasingly sophisticated use cases and integrate their storefronts with the broader technology ecosystems they depend on.
  • Partner directly with enterprise retailers to understand complex technical and business requirements, shape product strategy, and translate customer needs into scalable platform solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Commercial, Product, and other cross-functional teams to translate an ambitious long-term vision into a high-velocity roadmap and measurable customer outcomes.
  • Guide multidisciplinary teams through complex product decisions, prioritization, and high-stakes tradeoffs while maintaining alignment around shared strategic goals.
  • Use qualitative customer insights and quantitative data to evaluate product opportunities, understand value propositions, and make informed decisions for both retailers and their customers.
Requirements:
  • Bring 8+ years of B2B product management or comparable product leadership experience, ideally involving complex platforms, commerce products, or enterprise technology.
  • Have strong experience operating at the intersection of product and go-to-market, including close collaboration with enterprise sales, marketing, customer success, or other commercial functions.
  • Demonstrate a proven ability to build trust and effective working relationships with senior executives, both internally and externally.
  • Possess strong leadership skills and the ability to align large, multidisciplinary teams across Product, Engineering, Data, Design, and go-to-market functions.
  • Be comfortable solving complex product problems across broad product surfaces with significant ambiguity, competing priorities, and evolving requirements.
  • Demonstrate strong product vision and communication skills, with the ability to anticipate how grocery, ecommerce, and digital commerce experiences may evolve and translate emerging technologies into scalable product opportunities.
  • Bring strong customer and product strategy capabilities, including identifying customer needs, developing sophisticated platform solutions, and helping teams make high-stakes tradeoffs under tight deadlines.
  • Be fluent in both product intuition and data, with the ability to balance qualitative customer insights with quantitative measures of product and business impact.
  • Experience with AI-assisted creation tools, including technologies that use text or image prompts to generate or customize user interfaces, content, or code, is preferred.
  • Experience with sales, consulting, or customer discovery involving senior executives for 2+ years is preferred.
Benefits:
  • Base salary range of $194,000–$204,500 CAD for eligible Canadian-based candidates, with actual compensation dependent on permanent work location, experience, and skills.
  • Eligibility for a new-hire equity grant and annual equity refresh grants.
  • Competitive benefits and compensation programs designed according to the employee’s work location.
  • Flexible work options through a Flex First approach, allowing employees to work remotely, from an office, or from another suitable environment depending on role requirements.
  • Opportunities to work on high-impact enterprise products at the intersection of AI, ecommerce, platform technology, and digital experiences.
  • A collaborative environment with opportunities to work closely with senior leaders, enterprise customers, and multidisciplinary product and engineering teams.
