Job Description

Video & Content Producer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Video & Content Producer based in Canada.

As a Video & Content Producer, you will transform authentic travel experiences into engaging stories that connect with audiences across digital channels.
You will take ownership of video production from concept and remote capture through editing, delivery, and creative asset management.
The role combines hands-on shooting and editing with creative direction, storytelling, and production coordination.
You will work with travelers, hosts, creators, freelancers, and internal marketing teams to turn raw footage into compelling content.
You will also build reusable creative systems and adapt content for social media, paid media, CRM, YouTube, and web.
Remote production direction is a core part of the role, requiring you to guide non-professionals in capturing high-quality footage from anywhere.
Occasional travel will provide opportunities to capture priority stories and support major launches in an international, purpose-driven environment.

Accountabilities:

The role combines hands-on video production, creative direction, asset management, and freelancer coordination to deliver consistent, high-quality content across multiple channels.

  • Plan, shoot, and edit engaging video content featuring real traveler and host experiences, including trip recaps, testimonials, and day-in-the-life stories.
  • Lead video production for major campaign and product launches, translating creator and influencer concepts into polished, on-brand assets.
  • Direct remote video capture from start to finish through clear creative briefs, shot lists, and practical guidance.
  • Guide travelers, hosts, creators, and other non-professional contributors to capture footage that can be transformed into compelling stories.
  • Edit raw and user-generated footage with strong structure, pacing, hooks, and narrative arcs that encourage audience retention.
  • Travel occasionally to capture priority stories, launches, and other content requiring on-the-ground production.
  • Build and maintain a reusable creative asset library, including templates, brand components, and motion graphics.
  • Create channel-specific versions of source content, including vertical social formats, longer-form YouTube and web content, and shorter paid media and lifecycle cuts.
  • Keep creative assets organized, current, accessible, and aligned with evolving brand guidelines.
  • Own the creative asset pipeline from initial briefing and production through review and final delivery.
  • Source, brief, coordinate, and manage freelance videographers, designers, and other creative contractors.
  • Monitor deadlines, identify production bottlenecks, recommend roster changes, and maintain consistent quality standards.
  • Collaborate with social media, copywriting, brand, community, growth, performance marketing, and other teams to align content with campaign priorities.
  • Incorporate creative direction around tone, pacing, visual identity, and brand consistency into final deliverables.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a hands-on video professional with strong storytelling instincts, production expertise, and the ability to manage creative work independently in a remote environment.

  • 3–5 years of experience as a video editor, video producer, or content creator.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating narrative storytelling and engaging content rather than solely polished corporate production.
  • Proven ability to both shoot and edit high-quality video content.
  • Experience directing real people and contributors, including individuals without professional production experience.
  • Demonstrated experience directing remote video capture by briefing non-professionals and turning independently captured footage into cohesive stories.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop and Figma.
  • Basic motion graphics skills.
  • Experience briefing, coordinating, and managing freelance or contract creative talent.
  • Strong visual judgment and a consistent eye for quality, storytelling, pacing, and brand alignment.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Proactive and self-directed approach with the ability to work effectively amid ambiguity and changing priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple production projects and deadlines.
  • Genuine interest in travel, storytelling, and human connection.
  • Availability to travel when required.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience producing UGC-style or creator-led content.
  • Background in travel, hospitality, lifestyle, or community-focused brands.
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
  • Experience creating reusable creative asset or template libraries that have been adopted by other teams.
  • A personal portfolio demonstrating strong narrative storytelling and creative direction.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Fully remote work with the flexibility to work from anywhere.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Remote-first international work environment.
  • Career growth and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborative and creative team culture.
  • Opportunity to work on purpose-driven travel and community-focused content.
  • Exposure to international audiences, creators, travelers, and diverse communities.
  • Opportunities for occasional travel to support priority shoots and major launches.
  • Ability to shape creative production systems and content workflows across multiple marketing channels.
