Medical Billing Account Analyst at Columbus Regional Health – Columbus, Indiana

What you need to know about this position:

• Our Medical Billing Account Analysts are primarily responsible for managing assigned accounts, including claim edits, unpaid claims, and appealing and/or researching denials.
• The goal is to ensure timely filing and collection while maintaining accurate payments from insurance companies and government agencies.
• The base hourly rate for this position is $17.27. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
• This full-time position will require you to work 8:00AM – 4:30PM; Monday through Friday, and is 100% remote.

What is required for this position:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
