Cow Creek North Campground is located on the northeast shore of Green Mountain Reservoir, this campground has 5 group sites, vault toilets and a stay limit of 14 days. The site does not have water. Many activities occur on the lake including fishing, motor boating, sailing, canoeing, and sailboarding. The boat ramp is across the reservoir at the town of Heeney.

Cow Creek South Campground has 44 campsites. It is located on the northeast shore of Green Mountain Reservoir, offering an ideal setting for visitors seeking a multitude of recreational activities both on water and on land. Cow Creek South Campground is suitable for tents, trailers, and RVs. Vault toilets are provided. The site does not have water.

Elliott Creek Campground has 20 sites and is located on the northwest side of Green Mountain Reservoir in White River National Forest. On the south side of the dam, this campground offers an ideal setting for visitors seeking a multitude of recreational activities both on water and on land. Sites accommodate small campers and tents. This site does not have water. The road to this site provides year-round access to the adjacent private property. Gate is left open to accommodate this access post season.

McDonald Flats has 12 sites and is located along the Heeney Road near the inlet of Green Mountain Reservoir. There are a variety of activities around Green Mountain Reservoir including boating, water skiing, swimming, fishing, hiking, and picnicking. There is no water at this site. District operates this site post-season during fall hunting rifle seasons until mid-November.

Prairie Point Campground has 22 sites and is located north of Silverthorne, near the upper end of Green Mountain Reservoir along its east side. The reservoir is located 15 miles north of Silverthorne along Hwy 9 and has views of the Williams Fork and Gore Mountain ranges. In addition to boating, there are a variety of activities including camping, fishing, picnicking, jet skiing, water skiing, swimming, and hiking. Fee stations are located at various locations around the reservoir. This site does not have water.

Willows Campground has 25 sites and is located north of Silverthorne, near the north end of Green Mountain Reservoir. The reservoir is located 15 miles north of Silverthorne along Hwy 9 and has views of the Williams Fork and Gore Mountain ranges. In addition to boating, there are a variety of activities including camping, fishing, picnicking, jet skiing, water skiing, swimming, and hiking. Fee stations are located at various locations around the reservoir. There is no water at this site.
