About This Position
Position Summary:
Provides professional nursing care for patients in the physician’s office and for outpatients receiving treatments, examinations and diagnostic testing.
Position Qualifications:
Minimum Education: Graduate of LPN program
Minimum Experience: Sufficient previous clinical experience
Required Certification/Registration: Current LPN license
CPR certification
Physical Demands: Prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing/walking
Lifts, positions, pushes and/or transfers patients
Lifts supplies/equipment
Working Conditions: Regularly exposed to the risk of bloodborne diseases
Contact with patients under wide variety of circumstances
May be exposed to/occasionally exposed to patient elements
Exposed to accidents, injuries and illness
Subject to varying and unpredictable situations
Handles emergency or crisis situations
Subject to irregular hours
Pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries
