Who We Want
We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Technician to assist our product engineers in the testing and development of lighting products. This role involves conducting a variety of tests including thermal, vibration, humidity, corrosion, and electrical performance, particularly focusing on High Voltage Power Electronic components.

What You’ll Do
Testing and Analysis:
  • Set up and run development and validation tests on lighting products.
  • Use standard test equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and flowmeters.
  • Select and install instrumentation (accelerometers, strain gauges, etc.) to collect data during testing.
Reporting and Documentation:
  • Document test results and provide detailed test reports.
  • Support technical root cause analysis and resolution of issues found during testing.
Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure compliance with high voltage safety practices and industry standards.
  • Stay updated on electrical testing/troubleshooting techniques and safety regulations.
Technical Skills:
  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Read and understand electrical schematics and manufacturers’ product data sheets.
Team Collaboration and Flexibility:
  • Work collaboratively in a fast-paced development environment.
  • Willing to work flexible hours and support testing at outside facilities.
What You’ll Have
  • 1+ years of experience with validation testing.
  • Technical degree in electronics, mechanics, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Hands-on approach with a proactive attitude in identifying and filling gaps.

Compensation: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

The pay range for this role is:
22 - 26 USD per hour(Valencia, CA Office)
