Events Coordinator in Henderson, Nevada at Greenspun Media Group LLC

Greenspun Media Group is looking for a qualified Events Coordinator to join our Events team. Our Events team plans and executes dozens of marketing and recognition events throughout the year, in conjunction with the editorial calendars of our various publications. The successful candidate for this position will thrive in a dynamic environment, and adapt positively to changes in workload and priorities presented by key stakeholders. Responsibilities: · Provide administrative support, ensuring accuracy of all department records and data; · Oversee department inventory and manage organization of event materials; · Assemble event collateral; · Research and provide recommendations for possible event activations, sponsors and gifted items; · Assist with set up and strike for all events; · Assist with event planning and preparation; · Assist with on-site social media for events; · Provide creative ideas for event themes, decor, and logistics. Requirements: · Preferred majors: Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite · Experience with event planning/management, customer service preferred. · MUST be over the age of 21.
