Job SummaryThis GME Program Coordinator position supports the administrative needs of the Neurosurgery Residency Program.

The GME Program Coordinator will collaborate with the program director and the GME Office in the daily operational administration of the program as outlined by the ACGME program guidelines for Graduate Medical Education. This position will develop, initiate and/or direct a wide range of programmatic activities including program planning, schedules, project development/oversite, updating policies, recruiting, orientation, graduation, using accreditation databases, residency management software system (MedHub), and more. The position is essential in residency training program operations and serves as the primary contact. This position is the liaison between the residency program director, chief residents, residents, program faculty, GME Office, and affiliated teaching sites concerning residency program matters. We are seeking the following administrative strengths, time management, project management, organizational skills, problem-solver, attention to detail, digitally proficient, and thrives in a fast pace environment.

Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesAdministrative support experience. An associate’s degree and three years of administrative, office, or project support experience needed. Willingness to obtain Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education (TAGME) certification within 3 years of hire date.
