Assigns ICD and CPT codes to hospital records in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations. High School degree or equivalent; Associated Degree preferred. Prior experience coding inpatient hospital records preferred, or 5 or more years coding outpatient hospital records. Health Information Professional (RHIA, RHIT or CCS) preferred.
