Escrow Assistant at Cottonwood Title Insurance Agency – SALT LAKE CITY, Utah

Cottonwood Title Insurance Agency is one of the fastest-growing title insurance agencies in Utah. We are looking for experienced escrow assistants who are ready for a new challenge and new growth.

• First and foremost, you will be a client liaison, communicating professionally with clients, vendors, employees, and others to ensure all transaction-related tasks are completed while providing excellent customer service. Other responsibilities include:
• Opening new escrow files and processing escrow documents following established policies and procedures
• Completing real estate escrow transactions; clearing title; assembling, preparing, and reviewing closing documents; disbursing funds
• Ordering title commitments; resolving title defects; satisfying existing liens and encumbrances against property or principals
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Create and maintain files, records, and reports
• Answering client calls and assisting them with questions about their files

• Experience with escrow processes and title insurance preferred
• Sharp communicator (verbal and written)
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Problem solver that can focus on getting things done
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Self-starter, able to work independently
