Job Summary:

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will oversee and manage all aspects of accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate billing and collections. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with 3-5 years of experience, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a key role in maintaining financial health and contributing to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Billing & Invoicing: Generate and issue accurate invoices to customers and vendors in a timely manner.
• Collections: Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure prompt payments.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts receivable records with the general ledger and resolve discrepancies.
• Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular AR aging reports and other financial reports to the CFO.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline AR operations.
• Customer Relations: Communicate professionally with customers to address billing inquiries or payment issues.
• Weekly Meetings: Participate in weekly virtual meetings with the CFO and other team members to discuss updates and financial performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
• 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable or related roles, with a preference for candidates with restaurant or hospitality experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Strong understanding of AR principles, billing processes, and financial reconciliation.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting deadlines.
• Reliable internet connection and access to a professional work environment for weekly virtual meetings.
