About This Position
Job Overview:
The Physical Therapist plans and implements therapy treatments in coordination with a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Graduate of accredited program in Physical Therapy at the baccalaureate or post baccalaureate level required
- New Jersey board license and registration required
Scheduling Requirements:
- Day Shift
- Flexible Per Diem Scheduling
- 5-10 Hours during the week (negotiable)
- 1 Weekend day a month (unless extra hours are wanted)
Essential Functions:
- Analyzes gate to make appropriate recommendations for assisted devices
- Assesses the patients’ balance, coordination, proprioception abilities
- Collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive services to meet individual needs
- Develops a treatment plan based on patients’ functional abilities
- Evaluates and treats the muscular, skeletal, neurological and cardiovascular patients
- Makes referral recommendations for additional patient care services as required
- Works with the referring physician for individual needs
- Performs other duties as assigned
