Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: MD/ DC/ VA
Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time/Per Diem
We are urgently looking for a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. As an RN, you will provide high-quality patient care, assess patient conditions, administer treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a variety of healthcare settings such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, or nursing homes.
Responsibilities:
Assess and monitor patient conditions, including vital signs, symptoms, and overall health status
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare providers
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Educate patients and families on health management, treatments, and preventive care
Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, therapists, and support staff, to provide comprehensive care
Document patient conditions, progress, and outcomes in medical records
Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and infection control procedures
Supervise and mentor nursing staff (if applicable)
Respond to patient emergencies promptly and appropriately
Qualifications:
- Licensing: Valid RN license in the state of employment.
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN).
- Experience: Experience in long-term care or geriatrics preferred.
- Certifications: Current BLS/CPR certification; ACLS or other specialty certifications may be required.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and mentor nursing staff.
- Compassionate: A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to elderly residents.
