Job Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: MD/ DC/ VA

Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time/Per Diem

We are urgently looking for a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. As an RN, you will provide high-quality patient care, assess patient conditions, administer treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a variety of healthcare settings such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, or nursing homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and monitor patient conditions, including vital signs, symptoms, and overall health status

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare providers

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans

  • Educate patients and families on health management, treatments, and preventive care

  • Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, therapists, and support staff, to provide comprehensive care

  • Document patient conditions, progress, and outcomes in medical records

  • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and infection control procedures

  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff (if applicable)

  • Respond to patient emergencies promptly and appropriately

Qualifications:

  • Licensing: Valid RN license in the state of employment.
  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN).
  • Experience: Experience in long-term care or geriatrics preferred.
  • Certifications: Current BLS/CPR certification; ACLS or other specialty certifications may be required.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and mentor nursing staff.
  • Compassionate: A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to elderly residents.
