Zinober Diana & Monteverde P.A. is an established civil litigation and trial group seeking 1-2 experienced associate attorneys to join its growing Fort Lauderdale office.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in civil litigation and experience in least two or more of the following practice areas:

First-Party Property: residential, commercial Third-Party: premise liability, property, auto, commercial auto, trucking Construction Defect matters General Liability and NegligenceCoverage matters: policy interpretation, coverage opinions, declaratory judgement actions

Responsibilities may include:

Preparing legal analysis and coverage opinions on a variety of insurance policiesDraft discovery, pleadings, correspondence, and legal memorandaHandle all aspects of litigation from inception through resolution or trialPrepare and argue motions, attend depositions, mediations, and court appearances. Participate in strategy discussions with supervising partnersEnsure compliance with litigation and billing guidelinesAdvise adjusters on duty to defend, indemnification issues, and risk exposure.

Candidates should be proactive, organized, and be capable of independently managing multiple cases at a time. Candidates should also be able to work collaboratively with other members in the firm.
