Position Description: Jacobi Medical Center is seeking an experienced and credentialed Mammography Technologist to provide top-tier imaging services to patients undergoing routine screenings or diagnostic mammography. This is a high-volume, hospital-based position where attention to detail, patient safety, and teamwork are paramount.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate digital mammography systems for both screening and diagnostic purposes

Apply optimal positioning and compression techniques for high-quality imaging

Uphold all radiation safety protocols and infection control guidelines

Assist radiologists in performing additional views or specialized imaging as needed

Maintain logs, reports, and image accuracy for quality assurance and compliance audits

Deliver patient-centered care with professionalism and empathy

Required Certifications & Licensure:

ARRT certification in Mammography

Active NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist license

Required Experience & Skills:

Minimum 2 years of full-time mammography experience

Proficiency in digital mammographic systems and quality control procedures

Knowledge of breast anatomy and pathological findings

Familiarity with MQSA and ACR accreditation standards
