DISCHARGE COORDINATOR/PCT - DISCHARGE at Saint Bernards Medical Center – JONESBORO, Arkansas

Skills and proficiency in oral and written grammar, communication, and basic mathematics as acquired through official completion of high school or its equivalent. Ability to perform support activities in patient care as required through completion of an approved Vo-Tech program or certified as a Nurse Aide through the Office of Long Term Care, graduate of the SBMC PCT program, or after completion of an RN/LPN Nursing Student Skills Checklist completed by their nursing instructor. Candidates must be currently enrolled in an approved program to utilize the RN/LPN Nursing Student Skills Checklist. PCT experience within the last year will be considered in lieu of formal training.

Knowledge of job content, patient care practices and requirements as acquired by on-the-job training and knowledge of hospital and departmental policies and procedures as acquired through orientation and preceptorship. Health Care and clerical experience preferred.
