Job Description
We are looking for a talented and experienced React Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a React Engineer at Paychex, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing innovative web applications that enhance the user experience for our clients and internal teams. You will work closely with product designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to develop scalable and maintainable front-end solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Develop highly responsive, web-based user interfaces using React.js.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design wireframes and prototypes into functional components.
Optimize components for maximum performance across a range of devices and browsers.
Implement and maintain robust client-side architecture and state management.
Work closely with backend engineers to integrate with APIs and other external data services.
Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality.
Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in React development.
Troubleshoot and debug application issues to ensure functionality and performance.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Proven experience as a React Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of web applications.
Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
In-depth knowledge of React.js and popular workflows (such as Redux or MobX).
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
Experience with code versioning tools, such as Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack, Babel, and Yarn.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
Experience with Docker or other containerization technologies.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
