About This Position
Cashier/Shake Specialist
We are actively hiring outgoing and energetic team members to become Cashier and Shake Specialists at Brick City Vegan. The duties of this combined position include:
Warmly greet customers and invite them to return
Wear a smile as a part of your uniform
Answer customer’s questions about the menu
Accurately take customer orders at the counter or via telephone
Process various forms of payment quickly and correctly (cash, credit card, mobile, etc.)
Ensure a balanced register
Perform cashier duties at pick up window as needed
Prepare shakes, juices, and other drinks to the recipe and follow special instructions
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Properly stock shake and bowl station before, during, and after the shift
Prepare hot bowls and salads to the recipe and follow special instructions
Pack food items, prepare and fill beverage cups
Deliver food to customers for both dine-in and carryout
Ensure a clean and safe dining room
Appeal to impatient or irritated customers, especially during rush hours
Requirements:
High school diploma coupled with experience in related positions, as well as working knowledge in a similar role
Smile frequently
Maintain a professional appearance
Be a team player and work as a team
Outstanding customer service skills
Strong communication skills
Treat everyone with dignity and respect
Excellent mathematical, multitasking, and computer skills
Proficiency in using computers, calculators, and other machines required for transactions
Ability to work with flexibility in a continuous schedule of the day, nights, holidays, and weekends
