Data Specialist/ Reporting Analyst at Talantage, LLC – Columbia, Maryland

Talantage is currently seeking a Data Specialist/ Reporting Analyst to join our client's statewide agency Regional Office. The Statewide Data Specialist/ Reporting Analyst performs a variety of research, reporting and statistical functions, provides technical assistance and helps resolve complex reporting issues. They evaluate current business processes and procedures and recommend appropriate system enhancements or automation solutions to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of processes. This person designs documents and implements custom algorithms, workflow processes and large data sets used for modeling, data mining and research purposes.

Qualifications

• Possession of a bachelor's degree or accounting degree preferred
• Extensive experience and working knowledge of computers, especially in data extract/reporting software
• Expertise in delivery technologies and data access, including familiarity with data organization, data quality assessment, report provision and data profiling
• One to four years of data analysis experience
• Must have ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally with staff and institutional administration
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
