About This Position

This is a hybrid position - office and remote work.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Program Supervisor oversees the implementation of programming, ensures quality services, and directly supervises staff providing direct services. They provide reflective supervision on a consistent schedule, ensure staff abide by program standards of practice and/or the best practices, ensure fidelity to the curriculum, and engage in monthly financial reviews and planning. The Program supervisor will support staff in providing services in the community that could include but is not limited to workshops, outreach, participant group connections and support groups. The Program Supervisor is responsible for on-the-job training for direct service staff to assist with developing their ability to assess and customize curriculum, and work independently with families. The Program Supervisor will build and maintain relationships with internal programs, collaborators, and other stakeholders, attend individual networking events, participate in assigned committees/alliances and coordinate comprehensive services with key partners.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise Staff / Manage Time Keeping System (ADP)
  • Maintain staff accountability to their assigned job duties and providing quality programming and costumer service
  • Individual Reflective Supervision for staff
    1. Engage each directly supervised staff member through 1:1 meetings on a monthly basis and document meeting with 1:1 form.
    2. Recognition of strengths
    3. Provide feedback/opportunity for guidance
    4. Follow-up on task delegation
  • Complete biannual evaluations utilizing monthly reflective supervision forms and to help staff develop new goals for the year
  • Gather and aggregate information from program staff (Trainings, Success Stories, # of clients closed per month, Referrals, etc.)
  • Ensure monthly reports are submitted timely and accurately to Program Manager
  • Maintain year to date data on program progress in meeting contract deliverables/goals

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

Education /Background:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in early childhood education, social work, family studies, psychology or related field of study. A candidate with an adequate combination of experience and education may meet qualifications.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working directly with culturally & economically diverse populations of parents, infants, and children and CPLC.
  • Some supervisory experience preferred such as leading volunteers and/or interns in a project of activity.

Other requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must have access to safe, reliable transportation with valid automobile insurance.
  • Must have a valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance card.
  • Complete CPR and First Aid certifications within 90 days of hire and maintain the certifications throughout employment.
