Sr BIM/VDC Engineer Overview

Join the Ferguson Rock Shed Project as a Sr. BIM/VDC Engineer—leveraging the latest technology on a one-of-a-kind build that fuses precision prefabrication with complex on-site construction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop detailed models using Autodesk AEC Suite to streamline the production of 3D models and drawings for on-site construction and prefabrication of various concrete elements.
2. Model concrete structures for lift drawings, rebar, and formwork
3. Provide constructability and sequencing feedback through BIM model reviews
4. Coordinate models internally and with external teams
5. Collaborate closely with VDC Manager, located in the home office in Utah, and onsite project staff

What We’re Looking For:

1. 6+ years of BIM/VDC experience in heavy civil or concrete structures
2. Extensive experience onsite with concrete crews and knowledge of structural concrete construction
3. Proficient in Revit, Civil 3D, Recap, Navisworks
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
