About This Position
PROVIDES SUPERVISION TO: Placement staff; Vocational Case Managers; Job Coaches; Intake Coordinator
GENERAL EXPECTATIONS: The Administrator of Vocational Services is responsible for CWTC’s programs and directing the supervision of the accredited organizations vocational programs.
Responsibilities are to be carried out in accordance with CWTC’s mission, policies, and in a manner that supports individuals with disabilities. All employees are required to attend mandated training sessions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Participate in vocational, intake, and residential committees
- Assist in preparation of Human Rights and Behavior Management committees
- Supervision of vocational programs to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation guidelines
- Ensure compliance with contracts
- Assist with grant writing
- Update and review policies and procedures for vocational services and quality improvement
- Assist with D.O.L. compliance for consumers and source America contract
- Billing for all vocational programs
- Coordinate services with DRS
OTHER DUTIES:
- Conduct training sessions on special subjects as assigned
- Develop additional collaborations to promote independence of consumers
- Develop community contacts for opportunities for consumers
- Coordination of crisis prevention training
- Attend events to promote CWTC
WORKING CONDITIONS: Physical requirements include standing, sitting, bending, lifting up to 10 pounds, and working in an office environment. Interpersonal requirements include speaking and writing clearly, being able to adjust level and rate of language to be understood by consumers and directing the work of subordinates.
RELATED CONDITION: All employees are responsible for reporting any information, however acquired, pertaining to possible abuse or neglect of consumers to the Director of Quality Improvement, the Safety Director, or the Executive Director.
SAFETY AND ACCIDENT PREVENTION: Employees must follow all safety policies and use necessary protective equipment when applicable. Employees are responsible for reporting safety hazards and/or accidents to their supervisors immediately.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in social service field
- Two years’ experience working with adults with disabilities
- Excellent communication skills
