Job Title: Driver – Manufacturing Facility
Location: Bright-eyed Bakery Brooklyn
Reports To: Facility Manager
Schedule: Thursday through Monday, 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Driver to support our manufacturing facility. The Driver will be responsible for transporting materials, products, and supplies safely and efficiently between the facility and designated locations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth operations and timely deliveries, contributing to overall production success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport products, materials, and equipment.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are in safe operating condition.
• Load and unload cargo, verifying accuracy against shipping and receiving documents.
• Maintain accurate transportation logs and records in compliance with company policies and DOT regulations.
• Communicate effectively with the Facility Manager and other team members regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues.
• Ensure proper handling and secure transportation of all goods to prevent damage.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and equipment maintenance.
• Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the Facility Manager promptly.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a driver in a manufacturing or logistics environment preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
• Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and safety inspections.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Flexibility to work Thursday through Monday schedule.
