Job Title: Entry Level Construction Estimator

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Construction Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will assist Owners and Project Managers by preparing initial cost estimates, gathering data, and developing bid proposals. You will also contribute to risk analysis and may participate in post-mortem project reviews. This position requires travel to multiple site locations in the Bay Area.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with Estimating: Support senior estimators in preparing bids and proposals by taking off quantities, gathering data, and creating initial cost estimates, prepare drawings.

- Data Collection and Analysis: Research and gather information on materials, labor, and equipment costs from various sources.

- Bid Proposal Development: Help in the preparation of comprehensive bid proposals that meet project requirements.

- Risk Analysis: Participate in assessing potential risks associated with project costs and timelines.

- Post-Mortem Reviews: Contribute to project reviews to evaluate estimating accuracy and identify areas for improvement.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
