About This Position

POSITION SUMMARY
-
Coordinates, delegates and provides professional nursing care to patients under going treatment and follow up care from cancer and hematological disorders, in accordance with prescribed, delegated medical regimen and hospital policies.

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:
-
Minimum Required:
-
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, with current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
-
Proficient in IV therapy skills, demonstrates competency in assessment skills and working knowledge of chemotherapy administration gained through several years of professional nursing experience.
-
Incumbent will be required to successfully complete training, and be tested in the administration of FDA Chemotherapeutic agents.

BCLS certification; recertification required annually.

Above plus BSN; ONS certification
