Responsibilities

• Prepare shipments as required, including wrapping skids, loading/unloading trucks, UPS tracking device, etc.
• Physically transfer any materials as required, either manually or with the use of power equipment.
• Supporting multiple production departments for all material handling needs.
• Utilize strong organizational skills to ensure materials and products are easily accessible to team members when needed
• Receive finished goods, assist with picking and packaging customer orders as needed, perform stock replenishment, wrap skids, operate a forklift to transport materials and products to designated locations, and load/unload trucks
• Assist in the implementation of inventory systems, including racking placements for specific parts and prepping for bar code and scanning systems
• Properly document all transactions within the ERP system to track inventory and to prevent shortages of materials
• Provide training and support for 2-4 material handlers throughout the plant (fabrication, assembly, etc.)
• Complete all training and certification for the operation of automated material movement machinery as needed, i.e.: Forklifts, Raymonds, etc.
• Participate in all inventory control activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Required
• 2-5 years varied material movement experience preferred
• Basic computer knowledge with accurate data entry skills
• Reading and following written procedures
• Forklift operation for stand-up and sit-down equipment
• Reading blueprints and performing all necessary measurements
• Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team
• Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to the mission
• Flexible and able to multi-task; can work with an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions; demonstrate resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems
