Wire EDM Technician at New Standard Corporation – York, Pennsylvania

📍 Location: Hellam, PA | 🕒 Full-Time; 1st Shift (Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm) | 🏭 Tool & Die Department

We’re hiring a skilled Wire EDM Technician to program, set up, and operate EDM machines (including 4-axis) for high-precision die components and fixtures. You'll work from CAD files or manually, ensuring quality and tight tolerances.

• Program, set up, and run EDM machines from SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or DXF files

• Perform troubleshooting & preventive maintenance

• Use hole popper to create start holes in die blocks

• Inspect components and ensure quality specs are met

• High school diploma or GED (required)

• Tool & Die Apprenticeship or equivalent experience

• 3+ years Wire EDM operation experience (preferred)

• Advanced blueprint reading, GD&T, and measurement skills

• CAD/CAM proficiency (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, DraftSite CAD)

• Strong mechanical aptitude
