Commercial HVAC Maintenance Technician at Esco Inc – Albany, New York

We are looking for an HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team! As an HVAC Maintenance Technician you will assist with and perform repairs or replacements on commercial heating and cooling equipment. You will be responsible for responding to maintenance and service calls. Including an on call rotation for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements
• Perform routine preventative maintenance
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Working with laptop computers, tablets & digital trouble shooting tools
• Operating various hand tools, meters & testing equipment
• Working with electricity, natural gas and refrigeration
• Applying various chemicals & cleaning agents
• Brazing, soldering, evacuation & charging of various refrigerants
• Operating a service van
• Explaining repair / replacement options to customers in a professional manner, while making recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in HVAC, Maintenance or other related fields
• Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• A valid Driver's license with a clean record

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $95,000.00+ per year
