Production Supervisor in Brunswick, Ohio at Integrated Marketing Technologies (IMT)

Position Description:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for the operational execution of various production operations (repackaging, collations, assembly, addressing, labelling, mailing and shipping) of bulk merchandise and printed material. This position supervises 3+ associates. Supervisors are leaders on the floor that drive operations and enforce standards for performance and quality.

Experience:

This position requires at least 5 years of experience working in fast-paced production & fulfillment operations (warehousing, logistics or distribution) with a high level of supervisory responsibility. High School diploma or equivalent is required. College degree or some college credit preferred. The Production Supervisor is also required to have some experience working with multiple warehouse management systems along with general receiving and order fulfillment processes.

Position Guidelines:

• Ensure that the IMT and TMR production operations run at peak efficiency and that all SLA’s and metrics are met

• Provide coaching and supervision of assigned production associates for both IMT and TMR facilities

• Ensure that performance and quality standards are met

• Ability to provide time and material estimates based on instruction

• Identify and implement quality controls throughout process

• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

• Ability to delegate tasks and take responsibilities for the deliverables of others

· Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results

Skills Required:

• Operational leadership abilities

• PC skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

• Knowledge of mid-size warehouse management systems

• Strong organizational skills with aggressive follow-through

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to operate collating, inserting and mailing equipment

• Strong scheduling and adaptability skills

Skills Desired:

• Experience working in conjunction with a print operation
