SUMMARY
This position is responsible for supporting Welia Health’s business operations and processes via comprehensive financial analyses, accounting, budgeting, data mining and reporting. This position extracts data from various information sources used for simple to complex analysis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and compile statistical tracking measures for departments and organization. Oversee compensation for both employed and contracted providers and/or provider groups, set-up and maintain job codes, run reports, ensure proper and accurate reporting of pay and production data.
- Potential to build and maintain department standard reporting, dashboards, and metrics to monitor productivity and labor hours for entire organization.
- Monitor and ensure data integrity from payroll/HR systems to general ledger. Analyze compiled benchmark data and provide overall support to the benchmarking process.
- Provide root cause variance analysis from budget to actuals. Provide reconciliation of various data sources to pinpoint discrepancies and provide solutions.
- Create financial processes that are adaptable, consistent, repeatable, and scalable.
- Complete pro forma and return on investment analysis for capital projects and proposed services in collaboration with leadership and Finance department.
- Assist with other accounting projects within the department as needed.
- Assist with cyclical month end close processes, including, but not limited to preparing manual journal entries, reconciling and reviewing general ledger accounts, and budget to actual variance analyses.
- Assemble and report financial data for month-end close and year-end audit process.
- Maintain organized records and files.
- Assist in annual budget preparation.
- Ability to work and generate reports from electronic systems which may include, but are not limited to, Oracle, Excellian (EPIC), BOE, QlikView, and SlicerDicer.
- Assist with completion of mandatory reports and surveys, including but not limited to Medicare Cost Report, Hospital Annual Report (HAR), 990 Return, annual audit, annual provider compensation surveys,.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, business, mathematics, or a related field (required)
2 to 5 years’ experience in a business analyst role or related field (preferred)
Proficiency in Windows-based computer applications (required)
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (required)
Experience working in healthcare (preferred)
